Shipwreck .... Part Five & Last
A few years ago, a passenger ship, the Costa Concarrier, sank off the Italian island of Giglio. The owner had spent huge amounts of jet 570 million to build the aircraft.
It took more than a year to straighten and unload the plane and it cost more than the cost of the plane.
Unfortunately, this aircraft was not able to operate properly after that. I have noticed that the lower plates of ships which are grounded are destroyed, but the main engine of the aircraft is also affected so much that everything is moved.
Containers loaded with cargo will be unloaded after the Karachi-based Hangtong 77 extracted oil.
Even then, I don't think the plane can lift it up or pull it into the sea by ropes. To get out of this plane he had to the pieces through gas and then sell them one by one to the scrap through a floating crane, as is happening at Gadani Junk Yard.
The Port Authority and our Pakistan Navy will have to be more vigilant in the future to ensure that no such aircraft come in or near our port. Thankfully the plane was diverted to Clifton instead of being diverted to Kiamari, otherwise our economy would have been ruined if the main gas channel had been blocked.
Even now the owner of the plane is reluctant to hire a salvage company and this is often the case. After such the pilots like the truck drivers get lost and cannot reach the owners of the ships ... because their nationality is in one country they are in another country, their shipping office is in a third country.
If the bank account for Expenditure Bird is in a fourth country! Upon arrival, it is learned that the owner and company of the aircraft are in bankruptcy.
The owner is actually building a hotel in a sixth country with interest money mortgaged to a bank in a fifth country, in which the country's politicians, military and bureaucrats are also partners.
This type of ship would have caused such an accident in the open sea or would have started a fire or the owner would not have reprimanded the pilot for two or three months.
Mercy would have fought on Karma. Such a ship is called an Abandoned 2-ships. International law for abandoned aircraft is that any passenger on board the aircraft can own it.
The original owner will not be able to make any claim for it later - that is, the claim is valid, the possession is true.
I mentioned above that there are two ways to get out of this kind of plane. One is to take oil and bar (luggage) out of it and lighten it so that the plane lifts up and comes out of the gap.
You can then push this aircraft into the ocean by two or three tug boats - especially when the tide rises. Twice as high in 24 hours. But the position of this plane that I have seen is extremely bad.
This is what happens when the ship feels like it is drifting and immediately the second anchor is hired so that the ship does not go too far to land and do not sink deep into the sea.
The second task is to start the engine of the ship and launch it into the reverse, so that the ship can go back to the deep sea instead of getting stuck in the gap. But if you get stuck in the bottom of the ocean, you can get a little tilted instead of a lot of trapping, and when the tugboat or salvage boat arrives, the ship can be pulled to sea.
But there were two of the ships that made it but there was not a single anchor. The winds and waves at Karachi are so fierce that not only Hang Tong but also two or three dozen other ships are always anchored outside the harbor at Outer Anchorage.
But Hang Tong's condition was such that both of its anchors were also anchored - meaning they seemed to fit into very old and chains which the sailors did not care to replace or repair with new ones. .
This is the condition of the engine of the plane that it reached from Singapore to Karachi at a speed of 2 miles per hour. I wonder if they were able to start the engine during the crash or not - the details will be in court when the case goes through ... the plane is currently so stranded on land that it needs to be unloaded. It will also sink to the bottom of the ocean.
The plane seems to have penetrated a few feet into the ocean floor and over time the bed of the ship will stick more like cement to the ocean floor.
This means that it is not possible to unload the cargo (even after lightening) and push it into the sea with powerful tugboats. Tugs or Salvage Boats may be small aircraft but their engines are extremely powerful. He could even pull a big ship.
The “M. وي. Another way to clear the area from Hangtong 77's plane is to cut the plane into pieces, then send the pieces by crane to boats and trucks at Sher Shah (Karachi's waste market).
This work is possible but it will cost a lot .... Will the cost be borne by the shipwreck owner or will it have to be paid to our government - not paid, on our country's tax payer The bar will increase.
The merchants of the world buy old planes and scrape them in Karachi and sell the profits from the sale of iron, copper, brass and timber, but the cost of the ship is ten times the cost of the ship. The question that must arise in the minds of readers is why such a high cost?
To put an end to this dilemma, let us explain that Gadani, where the planes are wrecked, is scraped, and what is called the graveyard of the plane is another state of the sea. There is a deep sea to the shore. The wreckage is flown at high tide by the Beach Master at high tide to the shore at high tide. Welding and machines, cranes and trucks are delivered to the ship, and welders, plumbers, electricians, barbers and hundreds of workers break the plane into pieces and load the loaded goods into trucks.
Here is another case of a plane crashing into Clifton. It must have been grounded, but far from the beach (Sea View Avenue). It is impossible for people and machines to reach the plane by truck and there is no provision of electricity for cranes and welding plants like Gadani Beach.
Here the Salvage Company could arrange for the Clifton wreckage to be brought out in pieces by the Salvage Company's Salvage Ships. Not only will they have to bring their own generators and floating cranes by boat but they will also have to bring their own divers (tobos), chemists, mechanics and hired men who are skilled in underwater work.
The wrecked plane will then have to be unloaded at the port by boat.
The End.
