The secret of the speed of sound on the surface of the planet Mars

The US space agency NASA Mars 2020 plans to launch a passenger vehicle called the Presence Rover on the surface of Mars on July 30, 2020 and February 18, 2021.

A visitor has been surveying the surface of Mars since the launch of the vehicle, a week after it recorded the sound environment of Mars for the first time.  Now, almost a year later, after five hours of voice recordings by scientists from various universities and research institutes, the results were first published in April 2022 in the well-known scientific journal Nature.  For the past 50 years, spacecraft sent to Mars have sent thousands of amazing surface-to-surface images to Earth, but no one has sent sound-producing sounds to Mars.  Now, for the first time, a NASA mission has broken the silence by recording deadly noises.

These sounds occur in a spectrum of frequencies ranging from 20 Hz to 20 Hz.  First, they point out that Mark is silent.

The reality is so shocking that many times scientists have begun to think that microphones are no longer working.

It is clear that the physical sound of air is unaffected by the surface.  In addition to this research, scientists have been able to detect the noise produced by this rover vehicle, the shock waves caused by the collision of super cam lasers and the flight of the helicopter which is called Ingenuity.  ۔

By studying the slopes on the surface of these spaces (whose behavior is considered better on Earth), scientists have been able to accurately describe the sound characteristics of the Martian atmosphere.

Researchers say that the speed of Mars on Earth is much lower than that of Earth, its speed on Earth is 340 meters per second while on Mars it is 240 meters per second.  However, the most surprising thing is that there are two sound bones on the dye, one for more pitch and the other for low frequency sound.

Sound stress on Mars is higher than on Earth, especially for high frequencies that are slower (at higher speeds) than low frequencies even over short distances.

They all find it difficult to talk to two people standing at a distance of only 5 meters.  This is due to the ecological structure of Mars and the low air pressure.  The atmosphere of Mars contains 96% carbon dioxide and 0.04% of the Earth's carbon dioxide.
